Understand grace periods for overdue payments
To ensure service continuity and stability, Qwen Cloud provides service suspension protection for overdue payments. This lets you continue using Qwen Cloud services for a limited time after your pay-as-you-go account becomes overdue. Services are billed normally during the protection period.
All Qwen Cloud accounts receive a 15-day grace period after an overdue payment occurs:
Grace period
All Qwen Cloud accounts receive a 15-day grace period after an overdue payment occurs:
- During the grace period: You can continue to use model services with pay-as-you-go billing and your purchased Coding Plan normally. You cannot purchase new subscriptions.
- After the grace period: If you have not settled the overdue payment, pay-as-you-go model services are stopped. Your purchased Coding Plan remains available.
Only accounts recognized as Alibaba Cloud International accounts can disable the grace period service. This includes emails registered with Alibaba Cloud International, or GitHub accounts used to sign in to Alibaba Cloud International. To disable it, go to the Alibaba Cloud console (Expenses & Costs). After disabling, services stop immediately when an overdue payment occurs.
