qwen3.8-max-preview has ended its preview period and is officially retired. The original model ID qwen3.8-max-preview can still be called normally; requests are automatically routed to the production version qwen3.8-max, with Credits deduction and usage statistics calculated as qwen3.8-max. - 7-day limit: A 7-day timer starts from your first invocation. When cumulative consumption within the window reaches the limit, the service is paused until the full 7 days elapse and the quota resets.
Credits billing mechanism
Credits are deducted using tiered deduction coefficients by model. Multimodal models such as video generation consume significantly more Credits per call than text conversations. Pay attention to the following two points:
- High consumption per call: Credits for video generation increase with the duration and resolution, which may quickly use up a large part of your quota. For your first attempts, use a shorter duration and a lower resolution, check the actual consumption per call on the subscription page usage details in the console, and then decide on further usage.
- Batch settlement for asynchronous tasks: Credits for asynchronous tasks such as video generation are settled after the task completes, rather than deducted at submission. If you submit multiple asynchronous tasks within a short period, the Credits settled together after all the tasks complete may cause you to reach the quota limit quickly.
Billing description
The Credits consumed per request are dynamically determined by model type, token usage, thinking mode, and tool calls. Refer to the usage details on the subscription page in the console for actual consumption.
Deduction order
- Credits consumed by each call count toward the 7-day quota.
- When the quota is reached, the service is paused. You can use the Reset Usage Limit benefit to instantly refresh your quota, purchase a Credit Pack for additional Credits not subject to window limits, upgrade your plan for higher quota limits, or wait for the window period to end and the quota to reset.
Quota reset
You can use the quota reset feature to reset the 7-day quota to zero. After resetting, Credits consumed in the current window are cleared and quota accumulation restarts from zero.
Quota resets consume reset counts. Users who subscribed before August 5, 2026 will be granted a one-time 7-day quota reset starting August 5, 2026, which can be used as needed within its validity period. For subsequent reset counts, please follow official announcements or events.

Subscription management
Upgrade
You can upgrade from a lower plan to a higher one. Go to the Token Plan pricing page to select a target plan. The upgrade cost is prorated based on remaining time, and your quota is immediately raised to match the new plan.
The Credits granted upon upgrade are not the full billing-cycle quota of the new plan tier. Instead, they are prorated based on the price difference you actually paid and the remaining days in your current billing cycle:
Renewal
You can switch renewal periods and renew for multiple cycles at once.
- Manual renewal: Choose a different renewal period and renew for multiple cycles.
- Auto-renewal: When enabled, the system automatically charges and renews before expiration.
Other
- Individual does not currently support cancellation.
- After the subscription expires and you repurchase, the API Key will change and must be reconfigured in your tools. You can find your new API Key in the My Subscription section of the Token Plan page in the console.
Before you subscribe
- Multi-device restriction: Token Plan Personal Edition is intended for use on a single device per individual. Logging in and making calls simultaneously on multiple computers with the same account carries a risk of being flagged as abnormal behavior and may result in account suspension.
Terms of use
- No API automation: Use is limited to interactive use within programming and agent tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Qwen Code, Qoder, Qoder CN, OpenClaw, etc.). Using the API Key for automated scripts, application backends, or non-interactive batch processing is prohibited and may result in subscription suspension or API Key revocation.
- Region and data transfer: For Token Plan, the only available region is Singapore and the only available deployment mode is Global, which means the model inference will be performed globally. The prompts and model outputs will involve cross-border data transfer, and you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Token Plan complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- Account rules: The subscription is for the subscriber's personal use only. Sharing is prohibited and may result in restricted access.
- Purchase limit: One subscription per account. You can hold both Individual and Team Edition simultaneously.
